Flow Test Details

  1. Opening: We’ll open the hydrant to test the ease of operation.
  2. Flushing: Flushing the hydrant is key to ensuring a stead flow of water as well as avoiding the build up of iron and materials, which produces rusty water.
  3. Pressure Levels: We will check three different pressure levels, static, residual and flow pressure.
  4. Final Report: After inspection and flow test are completed, we’ll provide a written report to the local fire department and all others necessary.
